Use the Outdoor Research Versaliners as a standard 100 weight fleece liner glove with silicone grip palm and fingers. When the weather decides not to play nice, pull out the water/wind resistant Pertex shell from the back of the hand and you're all set to go. The Shell is completely removable for drying or when you want to use the gloves as liners in warmer gloves. The zipper pocket also doubles as a pocket for hand warmer sachets.
